The blue (or white) wire is the relay trigger wire for the fridge when it is on DC power. It will trigger the relay so that power to the fridge when on DC is only provided when the engine is running. This is used when you only have a start battery and no aux battery and you donšt want to have a dead battery out in the boondocks. jimt
