Once I asked a VW professor at the dealership about what to do if my alt. light keep coming up despite of having good charging. He said that the blue wire from the relay should be disconnected or the one of the wires from that little box that you have to click every now and then, that is half way of the speedo cable. It is probably a signal sender wire. But the best is to ask one who really knows.
