and to add my $.02 with beating a dead horse.

I don't have the raised plastic air duct in Either of my 82 Diesels that have the belly heater.. and theres not one in my 82 w/o belly heater..

tally, the 3 82 Diesels in my yard don't have a plastic ductwork.. I'd say it's not in many 82s...
