Hi everyone, Just finished the valve/head on my 85. Boy what a job, I had no idea. The heads were the easy part, it was taking everying off and then putting everything back together. What an education!, I missed judged my time estimate my a factor of four!. Thanks everyone who help me stay on the right path. Oh yes, there is always something.... I did a compression check and now everything is around 135lbs. but also noticed that she is running very rich. I checked the bently manual and can't find much on how to correct this condition. (Sometimes I wish there was a carb idle mixture screw to adjust). Any and all recomendations appreaciated. Thanks again all. Vince |
