All the injectors are actually wired in parallel. +12 goes to the injectors and the ECU completes the ground path. Once each engine revolution, (every other ignition pulse), the injectors will "fire". The ECU will determine the length of this pulse based on temperature, air flow meter, (flow volume and temp), and then ultimately O2 sensor feedback. The fuel pressure regulator also helps modify the injection quantity by adjusting for manifold pressure or lack there of, (vacuum).
