Actually what you're missing here is that you're running an 8.1 to 8.5 compression engine and the good numbers are not significantly differently than the bad numbers. Its called PARANOID MAINTENANCE. In my ten years of running 83 Westphalia an 76 Porsche 912e I'm confirmed that my engines never failed but I could have made the same miles with just regular manual maintenance. 20/50 Wt isn't a fix. oil coolers aren't a fix................. it Sorta breaks down to Desert Racer or East coats commuter.
