I agree with George. You can get a small 110v electric heater that weighs virtually nothing and has a fan on it that will drive you out of the van with heat. It will only take a second to set it where you want it and then plug it in and turn it on. If it goes bad, throw it away and buy another one. I have an ancient one that works great for working on the inside of a Vanagon when it is cold outside. You have to strip down to regular clothes and that is with the window cracked to allow the extension cord to get inside the van (non-camper).
