Sounds similar to my '82 I just got. The owner mentioned it had a tendency to drain batteries after a few days, so instead of fixing the problem, he installed a quick disconnect at the battery. After starting to tear into things, I found wires leading nearly everywhere from the fuse box and the battery, many of which no longer have anything attached - just bare ends, still live... I'll probably have 50' of extra wire ripped out when I'm done! -- Shawn Wright I.T. Manager Shawnigan Lake School
