As pointed out it is the randomness of the brokerage fees that can really kill the wallet. Plus the broker charging different duties for the exact same part a couple of times had me questioning the quality of service before I paid it.... and in additon they wanted the fee paid in US dollars, with a favorable exchange rate was an screamingly incredible deal for them....

So if we (us Canadians) are being cheap that is the reason why. Like many others I use USPS/Canada Post, know it's gonna get here within a reasonable amount of time........... and don't get all bent out of shape on the exact date or complain otherwise. In the end I have got what I have ordered with no exception.....

So for people that need to track and get it there quick.... you will have to pay extra as suggested.

I remember telling my UPS agent here that I would clear parcels thru Canada Customs myself and they promised to so note this on "a list" for future shipments. Of course UPS not having "an actual list" they tryed to get me to pay the brokerage fees on a couple of more orders. I said that was not our agreement and they could ship them back as I wasn't taking them............ they quickly dropped the charges.

Shortly after that I switched to USPS/Canada Post..... less hassle and much happier.....
