Could be earlier tanks, then.  I actually wanted to drain some gas out once and when I pulled the
line off I only got a cup or so of gas.

I have drained all but a gallon or two by opening that line up.  May just be
on the earlier tanks but I have never had a problem draining the tanks that
way.
