Subject: Need suggestions for SW trip
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

My honey and I are taking our 89 Westy 4speed on a month-long trip to parts of the South and southwest. We will leave Madison Wisconsin on February 18 and will head directly south until the weather becomes reasonable. At about Natchez, Mississippi we will begin traveling west through Texas and toward Phoenix. After about mid-Texas, my honey must fly home but I will continue with our Border Collie, Buddy.

After visiting friends in Phoenix, we can go anywhere it's warm. The same is true on the trip from Wisconsin. We can go anywhere it's reasonably warm. We do have a furnace in our Vanagon which gives us more flexibility.

We would appreciate any and all suggestions for places to visit or avoid. We are working class people with deep roots in the labor movement. I like to hike but it's not my wife's favorite thing to do so keep those suggestions for after February 25. Any suggestions will be welcome and appreciated.

Dan 89 Westy 4speed (ENU)
