That's me, once in a while. The other thing that happens to me is since I have three generations of transporters but drive late models the most, I tend to hit my head when getting in my 1960 truck.

That's never happened to me, but I do activate the wipers when making turns once in a while.

I've done both, the horn and the wipers. My summer vehicle is an 83 Westy, my winter vehicle used to be an 86 Bronco II- Reverse on one was over and up, on the other over and back. The Westy is 4 on the floor, the Bronco was 5 on the floor- when I switched vehicles in the spring I was always grabbing for another gear. The wipers were on opposite sides of the steering column, and then of course, there is the problem of figuring out where your front tires are when you switch vehicles- I would either park 6 feet back from the curb, or run up on it!
