Every 11 pax vanagon I have ever seen listed was listed as a "mini" bus on a
commercial van site. Havent seen one come up for a couple years and that is
definitely the nicest one I have seen. Also the first I have seen not
listed on a commercial van site. Almost every one also had the double
doors. Makes me wonder if maybe these vehicles weren't sold through normal
VW channels but their commercial vehicle branch.
Went out and did some measuring on my van. With first measuring I came up
with no way.
Then I took another look at the pictures and went out and remeasured from a
different point. From front to back. Look at the seats. I never noted it
before but these seats are narrower front to back than the standard seats.
Look at the distance that the first row sits and then the second row sits.
Some quick math and back out to my van and the rear back most seat sits on
the deck lid area. Look at the pictures and note where the backs of the
seats are positioned on the frame. Those legs on the seats are angled to
allow for peoples legs. We are talking small aircraft seating.

Planned insanity is best.
Remember that sanity is optional.
