I don't usually drive mine in the winter, but had to one day this year to get it home from the mechanic- I couldn't tell you what kind if tires I have on it, but they are worthless in the winter. I drove 13 miles on packed snow at about 35 mph because I was all over the road. They don't salt the roads up here. I am definitly going to put different tires on it before I go full-time since you never know what you might run into. I'm going to say the tires would make all the difference.
