Testing I did with my old jetta showed a 6 to 10 amp after a hard start. However a battery that has been taken down to under 11V and jumped will pull from 15 amps to 25 amps. I did this test a few years ago with a bunch of batteries after hearing what I considered to be myths associated with jumped cars. Turns out they may not be myth but depend on the type and brand and grade of battery. Bench testing by adding batteries in line (charged) added 1 to 2 amps each. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• jimt Planned insanity is best.
