What exactly is the loop? Thanks for the tip about phosphate free. I wrongly assumed that the mechanic would not let me put phosphated coolant in the system. Also, does it make sense to switch over now after 158,000 miles.
Also do the aux heater and rear wiper blade run off the same fuse? My rear heater stopped working today as did my rear wiper. The book that came with the vanagon indicated that there was some sort of switch under the steering column but all I could see was what looked like a blown fuse.
I ordered my Bentley Manual from Bus Depot on Friday so soon I will ask fewer questions.
