Personally I have always found it better to deliver the vehicle to the delivery company or pick up from them. Things have always gone smoother that way.

For example when I was working for a company on one vehicle I shipped to Canada. I delivered to the shipper here who shipped to a lot in upstate new york, where a local dealer picked it up and inspected it and turned it over to the canadian company/customer that took it over the border. In this case it was nice because the authorized vehicle inspector also was a vw dealership. We were a little leery on this one because it looked like the customer was pulling some kind of trick that could come back and haunt us. The dealership that did the inspection said it was not a problem just some legal sidestepping of that provinces tax rules on vehicles. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• jimt Planned insanity is best.
