The dash vent go around the heater air distribution. Just close those vents up as normal. Also check in your door frame to see if the holes coming from the front are closed off or open. The are large oval shaped holes for distributing vent air to the rear so it is cold air. Also did you check the speed/load resistor for the fan speeds out? •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• jimt Planned insanity is best.
