Actually, all 86 and earlier WILL have cold air coming out the dash vents at all times. *7 and later these were conditioned air. I hope you oiled BOTH bearings. While you've got it apart, I'd recommend at least rinsing out the heater core. No very easy methods to do a good job of cleaning, short of an ultrasonic bath! Congrats on the success! Al Brase
