Hi Volks

I am driving my vanagon this winter (usually stored in garage) with all season Yokohama 370 M+S (mud and snow) and they just sucked big time if there is just a little ice. "Acceptable" on compacted snow. Last week, I just installed good winter tires on my vanagon and it is like night and day. Just soooo much better! I can say it handles like any other 2wd... Almost as good as my honda civic with good winter tires.

IMHO it will never beat a syncro.
