I read a great deal in the archives about washing a Westy, but did not see anywhere that I needed to cover my flue. Is it okay just to take it through the automatic car wash or use a pressure sprayer type?
Regarding my coolant leak I tightened the hose that goes from what I believe is the thermostat to the waterpump and that stopped the last leak. I have had dry ground under the van for the past four days and man is it a great feeling!!! The pressure tester from Autozone didn't work because of the fitting. My mechanic offered to pressure test it again but since it wasn't leaking he thought I should just watch it.
Hope you all have a great weekend. I plan to play with my "new" Westy and get it cleaned and organized.
