The Konis are set at the factory for the average vehicle. If you have a Westy, or your van is lowered, you may want to set the rebound a bit stiffer.

What you do is compress the shock so the pins in the top engage the valve in the body. You can mark the top and bottom of the shock and use this as a reference point. Now turn the shock so the valve is all the way in. Count the number of turns and mark this on the shock. You then have a reference point to be able to adjust them. You can turn them in or out by 1/4, 1/2, or a full turn. You may need to experiment and try different settings. For most applications, you will want to install them as is. The shocks have a plastic ring that you will need to remove to make the adjustment. Just put it back in when you are done.

Check out Konis website for more information.

If you need more information or want to order a set, please give us a call.
