Well, this is the worse 2.1L ever.... Ok, sadly i don't have any pictures of before....

http://www.benplace.com/vanagon_engine4.htm

But let me tell you that this customer thought that the negine was cooked and was ready to buy a new one.... Nop, the engine as still somme good life in it, but it's everything around that is FINISH!!! Water Pump, metal cooling tubes (all of it), exhaust system was hanging there by the rust!, starter is cooked BY THE RUST, all fuel injection is so dammage BY THE RUST that i need to weld and cahge some part, power steering pump, hoses, and even the rack are done, finish...most of the brake line and clutch need to be change, there is so many other pats that i am forgeting some...

More horror picture to come on that page...

And another thing the last 3 head job a i did...separation of the JB-Weld / Aluminum putty... from the head, the stuff was stuck to the gasket, so coolant found a easy path. I never use JB-Weld, and i never will...

Cheers, Ben
