Kevin, i would consider NOT getting a more powerful wasserboxer. these are not time tested and true engines. I would wait until there are more data points on these engines. But even after 5K you stil have inferior head gaskets. So really, is it worth it?

If want more juice, convert. It is a time, skill, patience and money sort of balance. If you have the first 3, then for ~1500 you could be running a jetta engine. good power, good speed, fast. reliable. well known engines. For about 2000 you could be running a mechanical tdi.

if you want to stick with a wasserboxer: stick wtih avp or boston bob.

i would avoid zs imports. check out his feedback on ebay: vanamania.
