This is true for driving on ice, but a locker will get you unstuck and get
you rolling again . . . most of the time.  Whether or not it is worth the
expense depends on how often you want to try something stupid.


On this list, someone at sometime during the past six months mentioned seeing
Vanagons with limited slip rear-ends in Central or South America travel on
back roads which would give pause to a Pinzgauer.  Maybe the LSD's are available
from VWSA.
