I'm installing a 1982 ASI Riviera camper interior into a 1984
Vanagon.  Does anyone out there have an 82 ASI or know someone who
does?


I've gotten everything installed. The fridge, stove, and furnace work.


I have 2 batteries, with a battery separator between them.


Here's my question:


The 110v main "breaker box" has a red charging light on all the time,
even when "shore power" is disconnected.  It does go out when the
camping battery is disconnected.


This doesn't seem normal.  I would imagine the red light goes on only
when 110v power is charging the battery??


can anyone explain this?
