Steve,

Regarding someone using these molds at some future date, I have seen what was called a "Chop Gun" used to spray chopped glass fiber and resin into molds for rapid production work in fiberglas molding operations. The process reduces layup time significantly. I don't know about the strength of the pieces molded this way. Probably not suitable for boat hulls or airplane wings, but given that no significant structural stress would be on a camper shell the precess may work well.

Just thought I would pass this info along.

Though I am not a candidate to take on these molds, I would sure hate to see them lost to the Vanagon world. Hopefully someone will take them and use them.
