The power for the ignition and the ECU goes from the ignition switch, into a connector at the fuse box, then out through another connector to the rear. These connections occasionally burn at the pins. Don't know the pins or connector numbers, I'm at work. Reach behind the fuse box and do the pull tug thing and if it works, that is the problem. If you have the Bentley book you can look up the connection points. As this circuit is not fused, find the 2 wires and jump them together.
