I noticed that I rarely used the driver seat swivel function so I had Stephans Autohaus in Sacramento put it in a box for me. Now there is plenty of room to install batteries and such in both posts forward, posts backward or however one would like along with plenty of space for amplifiers, hidden compartments, lodging for formerly homeless spiders or whatever. ALSO it lowers th seat a bit allowing one to actually see the instruments through the Scirocco steering wheel. (upgrade). Thanks to Seth at jammyauto H&R for the ideas on the removal and Stephan at Stephans Autohaus Stephansautohaus.com for the fine service and excellent quality.

SDM ? Is this still a 'for profit' event?

Also notice that the original battery relay is not your ordinary relay it has a signal steering diode inside. So one might consider installing a diode along with the relay. Visit your local Bentley and carefully peruse the wiring diagram. Note the p/n for the relay on the ETKA is different from the 'garden variety' Hella/Bosch 30A cube.
