Subject: Re: Replacing the LP tank - part 1

Hey man, your tank looks great, and your pictures are first class . I wish this competer illiterart person could do that.I would suggust pulling the frig anyway even if it is snowing. Not hard.Stick your head back there and poke around, especially around any seam. There are many in that area.Cut off about 2 inches of insulation so they wont contact seams. This insulation wicks the water and contacts the seam many inches away.Rust city! Get new gaskets for the utility hookups(bus depot $2.95 each) . use clear silicone to seal these gaskets inside and out. It is through these gaskets that the water enters, it is said.It then stays there. Also silicone the flue for the frig,.A dry vanagon is a happy vanagon!Get 3M rust fighter 1 from a auto body supply house and spray the s**t out of all seams in that area while you have access.Remove the frig orifice and hook it up to a 2 inch hose filled w/alochol and then hook up a bicycle pump and force the alcohol through the orifice to get the bestest preformance from your frig.get a go westy computer fan to increase your frig preformance(sorry ron)Soap up and hose off the entire frig so you can eat off it, and let it dry for a day in the sun.Any money that you find behind the frig is mine,ok. roger Sisler
