That vendor would be me.
I'm sorry that you feel slighted, but perhaps you were unaware of the
circumstances behind the t-shirts? Back in December, a list member lamented
the fact that there doesn't seem to be many (any?) Vanagon shirts available.
I mentioned that we had some made up in the past and that I could have
another run done if enough people expressed interest. After ~50 people sent
emails (in December) wanting a shirt, I placed the order for the shirts plus
a few extras. Obviously, I have to wait till all the people who ordered in
December have paid or backed out before I can send out the extras. After
that, I will send emails to those who've expressed an interest (don't worry,
I'll remove you from that list) by date received.
BTW: These shirts are pretty much a no profit item, just something I thought
the list might enjoy.
Cheers,
Jeff

You know you are right, gone are the days of treating your customers poorly
and expect them to come back because you are the only game in town.
A list vendor was selling shirts... I responded 2x wanting to buy one...No
response either time. Why I responded the second time is beyond me but
needless to say there will not be a chance in a million that I will do
business with them again.
Nobody is perfect, I am quite aware of that in myself as well, but I am not
in the business of selling, I am in the business of buying and I go for
service followed by price, and then service again
By the way I have had very good service from 2 of the other vendors on the
list that I have purchased items from and owning a vanagon, you all know how
many times that can be.
no rant and I have not even run out of gas, well almost. Sure do miss the
gas indicator light from the late model cars. I had gotten really spoiled
since owning split window singelcabs without a gas gauge.
