I'm at least mildly interested in purchasing a top and have a suggestion.
Contacting Fiberine about taking the AW molds would seem like a logical
solution. They presumably have all of the materials and knowledge to take
over the project. They have their own mold that doesn't seem to have sold
very well and has some issues so a proven solution with a better history
should make some sense to them. And they have an established distribution
system to help keep the cost of shipping the finished product down. Also,
I like your idea of modifying the mold to take out the window openings.
This would simplify production and improve versatility.
