>Sorry to hear about your loss.I know it is difficult to lose what you have >put so much work and hope into. Big bummer, all right! But don't give up on the vans. Maybe yours is worth rebuilding? >May I suggust a landcruser FJ-55(about >1978),or a FJ-60.Ebay moters has a diesel FJ-60 at auction right now! about >$2300.00.1 day left! They have a bigggg following, and are way cool.FJ-55 >will pull 10 jeeps at one time out of a tar pit while the jeeps are tryin >their best to get back into the pit. Here is some familiar news-You can swap >out the inline 6 and put a chevy 350 in-and get about 2 mpg better.Good luck, hope things work in your favor. If that's an FJ or BJ60 WAGON with a 3B engine, stay well clear of it. While a soild & reliable machine, it is dangerously gutless... barely capable of 60mph, and utterly unable to overtake. Now, if it's a 13B or a six, that's a whole different kettle of fish. Why defile a Toyota by fitting a Chev lump into it?? If ya gotta V8 it, at least put a TOYOTA V8 in! -- Andrew Grebneff Dunedin New Zealand Fossil preparator <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut HUMANITY: THE ULTIMATE VON NEUMANN MACHINE |
