If I am selling a non-Bus-Depot-related item long-distance (on ebay, etc.), I actually prefer postal a money order. They're pretty much as good as cash, which can't be said about other money orders and bank checks (which are commonly forged these days). With a postal money order, if you have any doubt about its authenticity you can simply bring it to your nearest post office and they'll cash it on the spot (as long as they have enough cash on hand). So you can find out immediatley if the money order is good, without any risk of it being returned by the bank as forged or invalid. Plus, as was noted, no matter where you are it's never too far a drive to the nearest post office. Incidentally, U.S. post offices will also cash most foreign postal money orders, as long as they're payable in U.S. dollars. Canadian and Japanese post offices offer U.S. $ money orders; not sure about other countries. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW _____________________________________________ Toll-Free for Orders by PART # : 1-866-BUS-DEPOT |
