Maybe, but what is the cost/benefit ratio of using the distilled water? cost of 3 gallons of distilled water has to be very little. I had never heard of using distilled water till someone mentioned it on this lsit. Considering all the limestone we have in our water, it seems like a really good idea. Maybe giving bad advice is job security for your shop? Too cynical, probably. But it's not as important to them as it is to you!
