Agreed. Relay'ing any electical consumer is a good idea, however, I doubt that relays would provide much more an improvement than the better grounds did (on a stock system). Cheers, Jeff

Relays would come in if you are using higher current lamps that you donΉt want the heavy current going through your switches. VW realized that in the later vanagons when they upgraded the current rating of the light switch but a better option would have been to relay it. jimt Planned insanity is best.
