The sticker is for a vanagon pax and does not account for the added westy weight already being hauled. You increase tire pressure according to the axel weights. Cant find it right now but my 82 westy actually had a little tire pressure table slipped into one of the manuals (it was a loose page and was from a tire mfr). Basically the westy according to that mfr, was at 35 front and 40 rear and then there were steps for what was total weight with various cargo loads. The tire shop I got my current tires at put mine at 36 front and 42 rear. Was noted on my install sheet.

From experience of driving my westy loaded I donΉt go below 36 on the front ever. It is far to soft and shows the wear that it is too soft as well. The rear I always keep at 40 to 44. If I am carrying a load I feel it real quick at lower inflations.
