Checked with my Dad who's lived in Hawaii on and off for 30 years and was there most recently a couple years back:

When we shipped the 2001 Olds mini van two years ago, it was $800. from the port at Long Beach, Ca. You can drop it there and take a bus to the airport. The rate has since gone up to $860. CSX lines is a little cheaper than Matson. CSX, based in Dallas, Tx. tel #972 813-5954. Their Honolulu tel # 808 842-1515. Either one can give you a more exact quote and from what ports they serve. The shuttle bus from the pier to the airport is from $15. to $20. on super shuttle tel. #800 258-3826. They could quote you more exact rates and where to catch it. Keep in mind, our move was a couple of years ago.
