They make de-ionizing filters and other geegaws for car washes, pressure washers- car dealerships use them for their fleets. I find it's simpler to pick up a few gallons of .69 cent distilled water at the convenience store when I'm getting gas or on the way home from buying my antifreeze, etc.

Here the water is very mineral heavy (hard) my african cichlids loved it when I was raising fish. Had a heavy charcoal filter on the tank to take out some impurities but not the minerals. African cichlids love the liquid rock.
