I have a Sony portable XM radio, with a couple of car cradles (one of which
is mounted in my Vanagon) so I can move the same unit from car to car. In my
Vanagon, I connected the XM radio's power lead (via a voltage drop device,
since the Sony runs on 6 volts) to the remote amplifier turn-on lead on my
indash stereo, so when I turn off my indash the XM radio also powers down.
