On my Tristar, a previous owner had installed the Big Brakes. In that case it looks like they made a new custom fitting for the brake line.

I was a bit lazier when I put them on my Westy Sycnro. First we removed the lines from the current mount, detached the mounting bracket and reverse it (if I remember correctly), then figured out where we could attach it to the new calipers. It did require bending of the metal brake line (otherwise it was too long). This last is the most critical because you need to make sure that both the metal line and the rubber line do not contact any of the suspension parts at full travel and at all angles of the front wheels.

It actually was easier than I make it sound.
