Subject: Clock doesn't work after radio repair
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I took my 89 Westy to a radio/stereo repair and installation shop. I wanted the radio, CD and satellite radio connected to my secondary deep cycle batter. The work was completed successfully and a red lighted switch was attached so that I can bypass the ignition and turn these things on directly.

However, my clock no longer works and the repair guy refuses to accept any responsibility despite the fact that the clock worked prior to his work on this electrical line. Note that the radio, CD and clock are all on the same line. Tomorrow I will remove the instrument panel and try to determine what happened but I fear I will find a clock that doesn't work for no apparent reason. I have another clock but it shows only military time and I don't know if it's possible to change it to regular time. Of course it's digital.

I'm looking for suggestions regarding what may have caused the clock to stop working and what might work to fix it. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

89 Westy 4speed ENU PS: We're leaving on 2/18 on a month long tour through much of the southern part of the SW and I'd like to repair this before we leave.
