on my old '78 westy i used to have a locking latch for the rear engine decklid.. it was keyed to match the doorkeys. it was nice to be able to lock the engine compartment so nobody would futz around with the engine.. does anyone know if the vanagon single/doublecabs use the same pushbutton latch as the '74-'79 Buses?? or is it different? was there a locking one available for the vanagon single/doublecabs? i think i may have an extra locking '74-'79 bus decklid latch and i was wondering if the vanagon single/doublecab used the same latch... anyone know? chris |
