Most aftermarket radios will fit the Vanagon Dash opening. You may have to take a file and square off the inside edges of the dash opening for a good fit. The speaker rear and front wires may need to be upgraded to four wires for new radios. The length of the radio case is also an issue so you may also need a 90 degree antenna plug into the radio. Measure the distance and normally you can find something that will fit even though it might be tight on the length scale.
