Oahu really is VW van heaven. http://homepage.mac.com/grungy/PhotoAlbum31.html At the bottom of the page are 10 images of (mostly) Vanagons that I shot today (hmmm... not many other people on this planet that still think "today" is Tuesday, February 14 - it's 11:08pm in the last time zone before the International Date Line). Started the project late - several vans got away before the camera came out. I probably missed two thirds of the vans that I saw today. The driver drive-by shooting is tricky, especially with a digital camera with a time-lag between pressing the shutter button and capturing the image. The full-frame bread loaf image in Kaneohe was awfully lucky. Somewhere up on the page is an image of a really nice '86 crew cab that we saw a few days ago, parked at the Sprint Store in Honolulu. The vacation ends tomorrow, when we return to our '90 parked at IAH airport (have to check the oil and coolant before driving home because of the random leaks). --
