The wires are laying loose in the area the air duct tray above the door. You just need to tie the new 4 wire assembly (I like telephone cable for this, red, green, black, white set. Sometimes has yellow included). Just pull the old set out gently and down the door / windshield post and over to the desired position in the center of your dash. Tape the new wires to the old wires in the overhead box. It's helpful to have someone feed the wires past the 90 degree turn as you pull gently from the front door post behind and under the glove box.
