Subject: capacitor fix vs. pigtail
Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I had a serious bucking problem on Billy Bones after about an hour of steady speed interstate driving. I installed the capacitor and it made a difference, but did not totally get rid of the problem. I then bought a pigtail from listmember Bill in Mystic, CT, and hooked it up. I went for about a hundred mile drive on the interestate and no bucking so far.

I think that the real way to stop the bucking is to pony up and purchase a new AFM. But that costs even more bucks...

By the way, what ever happened to the AFM replacement Bostig Engineering was working on?
