Sam, I'm not talking shuttling people around. I'm talking about picking up and delivering parts. The heavy duty portion of a Van's intended job.

GM stores uses GM full sized Vans, Ford uses Ford full sized Vans, Dodge uses (still ) the older Mopar Vans for running parts around.

Why doesn't VW ??

As the parts guy suggested, it would be a large monetary loss to run them like they do the Fords.

Not quite as dependable, and a much larger outlay to keep them running.

And I think they aren't as large on the inside anyway, for sheet metal hauling, engine's & gear boxes, packed in crates.

I think this is all pretty humorous.-:)
