I would encourage anyone considering purchasing tires for their Vanagon to review the buyer comments on the Michelein Agilis at Tire Rack:

It was my experience too that if you want stability, responsiveness, and manuverability -- especially at highway speed -- reinforced sidewalls are essential and anything else is just mushy.

Does anyone run tires other than the Agilis that address this well?
