A triple. Also, my 75 Kombi's 1.8 was a triple 
for the final 200km of its life...

Citröen Deux Chevaux was an aircooled boxer twin. 
Triples? Daihatsu Charade, Suzuki Fronte 
(twostroke), Suzuki 094uc4q[p, Honda MVX250 
(twostroke V-triple), Suzuki GTs, Kawasaki Hs, 
Triumph Trident/BSA Hurricane...

I saw one here in New Zealand... an early 12V 
one. Also nicely done. I think there are others
